Structure, Management and Board of Directors

Swiss Transfusion SRC is the umbrella organisation of the regional blood transfusion services. It fulfils federal tasks. It operates in close coordination with the responsible bodies of the federal administration, namely the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products.

  • General Meeting: the shareholders are the regional blood transfusion services (RBSD) and the Swiss Red Cross (SRC)

  • Conference of Presidents, made up of the RBTS presidents
  • Swiss Blood Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (SBST)

  • Conference of Directors, made up of the RBTS directors
  • working groups, which compile responses to specific inquiries
